Founded on February 25, 1982, with just 24 members, the Wautoma Kiwanis Club has grown into a vibrant organization with approximately 60 dedicated members today—including one of our original founders who remains actively involved!
As part of Kiwanis International, which was established in 1915 and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, our mission is simple but powerful: “Serving the Children of the World.” With over 8,000 clubs in more than 70 countries, Kiwanis members are united by a passion for community service, especially when it comes to supporting children and youth.
Here in Wautoma, we’re proud to be an active, hands-on club. We host numerous fundraising events throughout the year, and all proceeds go right back into our community—supporting local projects, organizations, and people in need. Our members come from all walks of life and bring a wide range of skills, ideas, and experiences to the table.
We work hard, but we have a lot of fun doing it. Because at the end of the day, Kids Need Kiwanis—and our community needs people like you.
Does the Wautoma Kiwanis Club sound like a good fit for you? We’d love to welcome you into our Kiwanis family! New members bring fresh ideas and energy that help us continue to grow and make a lasting impact in Wautoma and beyond.
